Position: Purchasing Clerk
The Purchasing Clerk will be expected to perform duties as both administrative support to the Purchasing department and Warehouseman backup. The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for the set-up of purchase orders, process receipt of goods and freight invoices, log usage for major inventory items, generate month end reports and assist with purchasing duties as needed. The Purchasing Clerk will report directly to the Purchasing Supervisor.
Qualifications & Special Skills:
Positive safety attitude, strong communication skills; ability to work well others; ability to complete tasks timely and efficiently; detail orientated; dependable; adherence to strict ethical standards and honesty. Knowledge of Word, Excel and/or JD Edwards software is preferred but not required.
Primarily day shift. Applicant will be expected to work overtime and call-outs when necessary.
