Montana Resources operates an open-pit copper and molybdenum mine in Butte, Montana, that includes the Continental mine, crushers, and a concentrator facility that processes raw ore into high-grade metal concentrates.

Since 1986, we’ve produced over 2.5 billion pounds of copper and 300 million pounds of molybdenum, with current reserves projected to support mining through 2054. Our products supply essential metals to the global market. With over 150 years of mining history, Butte is known as the Mining City.
