Montana Resources, together with the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation, proudly supports the Montana Folk Festival with ongoing funding to ensure its success. Their commitment helps bring world-class music, art, and cultural experiences to Butte.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Montana Resources proudly supports the Rolin Erickson Scholarship, helping students pursue their education at Montana Technological University and Highlands College. This commitment honors Rolin Erickson’s legacy by investing in future generations of Butte students and their success.

BUTTE CELEBRATES STODDEN PARK IMPROVEMENTS
Montana Resources is proud to support the revitalization of Stodden Park, creating a world-class community space for families and visitors to enjoy. These improvements honor Butte’s history while providing modern amenities that will benefit southwestern Montana for generations to come.

SWEATSHIRTS FOR SCHOOLS
For the last 9 years the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation in conjunction with Montana Resources have been providing school sweat shirts to 5th grade students in Whitehall, Butte, Ramsay and Anaconda. The kids love them and it’s been a fun project to help the schools and the students.

HOLIDAY GIVING
Each holiday season, employees assemble and distribute Christmas food baskets to support families in need.

The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation, supported by annual contributions from Montana Resources and other Washington Companies, aims to improve lives by funding programs that enhance the quality of life. The Foundation focuses on youth, economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and families, and those with special needs.
