Qualifications for these positions include:

  • Demonstrated ability to work safely around all equipment and personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of welding, pipefitting and fabrication
  • Industrial background with a strong knowledge of troubleshooting pumps preferred.
  • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent attendance record required
  • Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations required
  • Ability to provide own tools required
  • Complete a welding proficiency test

Positions are primarily day shift. Some weekend and afternoon shift work required. Applicants will be expected to work overtime and call-outs when necessary.

Position Specifics

Tailings Maintenance

The successful candidate will maintain and rebuild several 2″ to 24″ pumps. Experience operating a fusing machine and fusing pipe is preferred. The successful candidate will operate various equipment such as forklifts, genie lifts, backhoe, and small loaders. Demonstrated welding ability is preferred for this position. Perform other duties as assigned. Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling will also be considered.

Position Specifics

Primary Crusher Maintenance and Secondary Crusher Maintenance

The successful candidate will maintain and repair. The position also requires general plant maintenance including the creation of new structures or objects or may repair existing ones. This position is also required to climb stairs/ladders, frequent use of respirator and some work outdoors in inclement weather. Perform other duties as assigned. Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling will also be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.

Position Specifics

Mobile Maintenance

The successful candidate will maintain and repair a fleet of CAT 793C and 793F Haul trucks and support equipment including graders, dozers, and light vehicles, oil and filter replacement on all equipment. Demonstrated welding ability is preferred for this position. Position also requires the ability to climb stairs/ladders, frequent lifting up to 50lb., and some work outdoors in inclement weather. Perform other duties as assigned. Any special licenses’, certifications, and schooling will also be considered.

Electrician

Qualifications for these positions include:

  • Demonstrated ability to work safely around all voltages, in and around mobile equipment, and in inclement weather.
  • Montana Journeyman Electrician License, preferred.
  • Industrial background with strong knowledge in:
    • Three phase power
    • Medium voltage
    • PC networking
    • MCC installation and repair
    • Conduit bending and installation

Responsibilities to include:

  • Support for complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits
  • Maintenance of electrical systems for mine and mill equipment
  • Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution, and installation
  • Position is primarily day shift, however, some nightshift and weekend work will be required
